James Lee Paty of Sheridan, Arkansas was born, March 29, 1940 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of the late John Lee and Pearl Estalle Young Paty. He was a member of First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, and was retired from International Paper Company mill as an extruder. He enjoyed tinkering with antique cars and fishing.

Mr. Paty died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home, at the age of 78.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Lillie Veazey Paty; daughters, Beverly Poe and husband Patrick, Sandra Lea Paty, all of Sheridan; son, Robert Scott Paty and wife, Jamie of Montana; grandchildren, Brandy Parkridge (Craig), Lucas Paty, Adam Poe, Noah Hepp (Colton); great grandchildren, Thomas, Jonathan, and Samuel Parkridge.

Honorary Pallbearers are his former extruder co-workers at International Paper Company mill.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 28, 2018 at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation is also Friday, from 9:00-9:45 A.M. at the funeral home.
