James Earl Rowland

James Earl Rowland of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 12, 1951 in Dumas the son of the late Junior and Mary Woodall Rowland. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and watching the Razorbacks.

Mr. Rowland died Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock at the age of 75.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: wife, Sherrie Goodwin Rowland of Sheridan; son, Curtis (Nicole) Rowland of Sheridan; daughter, Rachel (Robby) Nalley of Sheridan; brother, Rick Rowland of Little Rock; sister, Ellen (Robert) Buras of Vermont; grandchildren, Avery, Callen, Chase, Grayson, Annsley and one great grandchildren, Ezra and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community at 11:00 AM with Bro. John Mark Williams officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation at Support Kidney Patients - American Kidney Fund.
