James Arthur Searvogel of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 24, 1940 in Pickett, Wisconsin, the son of the late Arthur Raymond and Margaret Elizabeth Ryan Searvogel. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sheridan and was a retired heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed carpentry, playing golf and water aerobics.

Mr. Searvogel died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at his home at the age of 75.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Searvogel, sisters, Isabelle Neuman and Joan Miller and a grandson, Josh Searvogel.

Survivors: wife, Beverly Ann Vachowiak Searvogel of Sheridan; sons, Kurt Searvogel of Little Rock; Clifford Schoenick, Jr. and wife Pam of Berlin, WI, Steven Schoenick of Waupun, WI, Mark Schoenick of Waupan, WI; daughters, Nancy Delzer and husband Andrew of West Bend, WI, Cheryl Mulder and husband David of Fondulac, WI, Lisa Cooper and husband Neal of Kodiac, Alaska; sister-in-law, Beverly Searvogel of Oshkosh, WI; brother, Robert Searvogel and wife Sharleene of Beaver Dam, WI; sisters, Mabel Hafenstein of Fox Lake, WI, Jean Bahr and husband Wayne of Fall Rover, WI, Barbara Harrigan and husband James of Beaver Dam, Wi; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sheridan. A Rosary service will be held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. with a time of visitation after the service until 8:00 P.M.
