James Riley Sinclair of Little Rock, Arkansas was born January 24, 1944 in Pine Bluff, the son of the late Mack Wayne and Helen Broach Sinclair. He worked for 34 years as a banker at Simmon's Bank retiring in 2007. He was a 1962 graduate of Watson Chapel High School and he enjoyed hunting and collecting guns.

Mr. Sinclair died on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center at the age of 78.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Sinclair.

Survivors: wife and best friend of 58 years, Janelle Thompson Sinclair of Little Rock; son, Kevin (Robin) Sinclair of Benton; daughter, Jana (Charlie) Blackwood of Sardis; brothers, George Sinclair of Marshall, Mack Sinclair of Pine Bluff, Paul Sinclair of New Zealand; sister, Betty Etheridge of Beebe; 4 grandchildren, Marah Abbott, Tara Winingar, Mack Sinclair and Colton Sinclair; 6 great grandchildren, 2 on the way and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Phillip Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Doug Head, Mack Sinclair, Colton Sinclair, Zach Winingar, Todd Abbott and Charlie Blackwood. Honorary pallbearers are James Sinclair, Jude Winingar, and Harper Abbott.
