James Joseph Witherow of Sheridan, was born in Irving, Texas on October 26, 1930, the son of the late Robert Allison Witherow and Mildred Sanders Witherow.
He died at his home in Sheridan on July 22, 2004 at the age of 73 years.

He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock; a baptist; a member of the National Rifle Association; a avid Razorback fan, and member of Tate Ranch Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by two sons, James David and Andy Lee Witherow, and two brothers,
Robert and William Witherow.

2 sons: Barry Allen Witherow of Center Ridge, Arkansas
Karl William Witherow of Houston, Texas
8 Grandchildlren: Sam Witherow, Andrea Lyn Baker, Amy Lee Witherow, Zack Witherow, Kasey Witherow, Joshua Witherow, Jacob Witherow and Allison Witherow.

Funeral Service will be Monday, July 26, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Reverend C.M. Lewallen and Reverend Robert Standley officiating.
