Janie Lee Puckett Derrick of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 18, 1918 at Sheridan, the daughter of the late Joseph Harve and Janie Stuckey Puckett. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Pentecostal Church, a homemaker, and loved yard sales. Most importantly, her life reflected what was most important to her, her Lord and her family.

Mrs. Derrick died Saturday, September 25, 2004 in Sheridan at the age of 86. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, R.S. "Bud" Derrick, two sons, Walter Derrick and Jerry Lee Derrick, and a granddaughter, Audrey Beckett.

Two Daughters: Wanda "Sue" and husband Sidney Brown of White Oak, Texas
Mary Jo and husband Walter Keen of Sheridan

Three sisters: Floy David of Klammoth Falls, Oregon
Laverne Lucas of Sheridan
Betty and husband Roy Don Zylks of Rodessa, Louisiana

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at New Life Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Sheridan with Bro. Steve Cypert and Bro. Tommy Cypert officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation: Monday 5-8 P.M.
