Janis Elaine Webb of
202 N Elm St., Prattsville, affectionately known to her friends as Miss Janis, born in San Francisco Dec. 7, 1941 to Mabel Vivian and Albert Hall, died in her home the morning of June 19, 2010 at the age of 68. A loving wife of 38 years to Guy Everett Webb, deceased, she is mother to Tamara Lynn Wyatt, deceased, and is survived by her sister, Gail Steinman, by her sons Shen-Tat and Adam Troy Webb, as well as by her grandchildren, Paige Elaine Webb and Booker E Webb, and by her great grandchild Destiny Elaine Webb of California. She worked during her life as a receivables clerk, a business owner and an office assistant. She was an active and much loved member of North Main Baptist Church of Sheridan. A discerning and handsome woman, much relied upon within her community, a spiritual guide and good friend, a pillar of support to her family. Her ready smile and easy company will be missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at North Main Baptist Church in Sheridan.
