Jason Lee Smith of Prattsville, Arkansas was born December 11, 1974 at Pine Bluff, the son of Jackie Benning Smith and the late Gary Smith.  He was a member of Harmony Missionary  Baptist Church,  and enjoyed hunting and fishing.   Jason had a heart of gold and an infectious smile. He truly never met a stranger.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Mr. Smith died Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Prattsville, as the result of an automobile accident, at the age of 46.  In addition to his dad, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Billy Jack and Edna Benning, and Grady and Betty Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Cox Smith; son, Hunter Smith; mother, Jackie Smith; sister, Melissa Leann Smith Lamb;  in-laws, James and Bonnie Cox; brother-in-law, James Michael Cox; all of Prattsville; nephew, Cole Williams of Springhill, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.

A Celebration of Jason's life will be held at 6:00 P.M., Friday, April 9, 2021 at Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church at Prattsville.  Visitation is also Friday, from 5:00 P.M. until service time at the Church.
