Obituary

Jay Everett Gregg of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 5, 1968 at Denver, Colorado, the son of Theodore Michael Gregg and Sparkie Woods Gregg Fanset. He was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church at Sheridan, enjoyed photography, assembling model cars and airplanes, martial arts and was a participant in the Sheridan Timberfest's annual lumberjack competition. The greatest joy in Jay's life was being a loving husband and father.

Jay died Sunday, January 7, 2007 in Sheridan as the result of an accident at the age of 38. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, J.E. and Anna May Woods and paternal grandparents Theodore Everett and Freda Gregg.

Survivors include:
Wife: Cheri Shellnut Gregg of Sheridan;
Daughter: Deanna Elizabeth Gregg of Sheridan;
Mother: Sparkie Woods Fanset;
Father and Step-mother: T.M. and Sharon Gregg of Colorado;
Sisters: Krista Gregg of South Carolina and Kassandra Gregg of Colorado;
Numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will be at Jackson Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday, 6-8 P.M.
