Jay Cee Jamison of Sheridan, Arkansas was born June 10, 1947, the son of the late Leland and Gertrude Jamison. Mr. Jamison was a United States Army Veteran, having served his Country in the Vietnam war. He was also a retired truck driver. By far, his greatest joy was being outdoors, and every chance he had, he was either hunting or fishing.

Mr. Jamison died at his home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the age of 72.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Oscar Jamison and half sisters, Alice Barton and Darlene McCall.

Survivors: wife, Celia Jones Jamison of Sheridan; son, Bryan and wife Stephanie Jamison of Sheridan; daughter, Jennifer and husband Jeff Smith of Sheridan; half brother, Buster Pherigo of Indiana; grandchildren, Shelby Jamison, Hunter Jamison, Garrett Davis, Brett Davis, Blaine Davis, Abigail Johnson, Jamal Johnson; great grandchildren, Bristol Davis, Ava Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Leonard Jones, Zachary Jones, Hunter Jamison, Garrett Davis, Brett Davis and Blaine Davis.
