Jessie C. Kervin, "JC", Jr. of Prattsville, Arkansas was born November 14, 1934 in Prattsville the son of the late Jessie C. Kervin, Sr. and Ruby Benning Kervin. He was a professional land surveyor for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, flying, where he used the GI Bill for Commercial license, and served his country in the US Army in the Security Agency.

Mr. Kervin died Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the John L. McClellan VA Infirmary in Little Rock at the age of 88.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fite Kervin and a brother, Joe Donald Kervin.

Survivors: sons, Karl (Trina) Kervin of Morrilton, Aaron (Jennifer) Kervin of Prattsville; daughter Sonya Kervin (Jerry Derrick) of Prattsville; one brother, Billy Kervin of Sheridan and a sister, Mary Kervin Cole (John) of Sheridan; 3 grandchildren;5 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Philadelphia cemetery in Prattsville at 2:00 PM.
