J.C. Kitchel

J.C. Kitchel, age 91, of East End, AR, went to the Lord on Sept. 16, 2026. He was born in Warren, AR, on May 17th, 1933. He was a member of East End Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Mae Kitchel of 73 years, his son, Ronnie Kitchel (Marsha), and daughter Beverly Diane Kitchel, his granddaughter, “Punkin” Jade Kitchel Porter (Luke), and a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Preceding in death are his parents, Elza and Mary Ellen Kitchel, his brother, Herman Lester Kitchel, and Shirley Jane Veigl.

JC spent his life loving law enforcement. He started this path joining the Air Force as an AP (air police). Upon discharge he had several different careers. He gradually found his way back into law enforcement until his retirement from the Benton Police in 2003. He also had the privilege of being Captain of the Saline County Sheriff Reserves Unit.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Salem Cemetery in East End with Bro. Rick Porter officiating.
