J.D. (Mac) McClellan of Little Rock, Arkansas was born November 4, 1925 at Sherman, Texas, the son of the late C.H. (Charlie) and Ova Starnes McClellan. He was a long time employee of the Lofland Company in North Little Rock. He retired in 1987 to pursue other interests including becoming a real estate agent and investing in residential rental properties. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Little Rock.

Mr. McClellan died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 87. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Helen Jean McClellan, Olena Bell, and Gwen Williams; three brothers, John, Houston and Doss McClellan; and a daughter Jeanne Cantrell.

Mac is survived by his loving wife, Marie; a daughter, Charlene Perry; and sons, Joe, Larry, and Jack McClellan; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 18, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Little Rock (Center and 8th Street) with Rev. Chris Cooper and Rev. Donna Hankins-Hull officiating.
