Obituary

Frances Jean Baker Hopkins, of Sheridan, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2009 at the age of 57 years. She was born January 10, 1952 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of Johnnie Mae Taylor Baker Bradley and the late Roy Hix Baker, Jr.

She was an Administrative Assistant for the Sheridan School District for 17 years, a member of First United Methodist Church where she worked as Program Director. She was also a member of the Zeta Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and the Bookbunch, and was also a 1970 graduate of Sheridan High School , and
she obtained a business/accounting certificate from SEARK (Southeast Arkansas Community College) in 2001.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by
two daughters: Amanda Michelle Winbury and husband Adam of Sheridan, and
Jennifer Elaine Castillo and husband Kerry of Sheridan

Two sisters: Debbie Thompson and husband Bill of East End; and
Joann Nigus and husband David of Cabot

5 Grandchildren: Erin Shelby Hester; Addison Michael Winbury; Austin Maddox Winbury; Lainey Brooke Castillo and Lexie Anne Castillo, all of Sheridan

2 Nephews: Shane Michael Thompson and Jonathan David Nigus

Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until service time at the Church.
