Jeanette Truhett Underwood of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 12, 1940 at Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of the late James and Annie Virginia Cook Truhett. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Watson Chapel, and was a caregiver. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, collecting what-nots, and participating in church functions. One of her favorite pastimes was feeding, and watching, her hummingbirds each year.

Mrs. Underwood died Saturday, June 1, 2019, at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 78. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William T. Underwood.

Survivors include her sons, Tony Brown of Jacksonville, Florida, Timothy Brown of Sheridan, Jeffrey Hill of Sheridan; grandchildren, Tony James Brown, and Mandy Hills. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Liberty Baptist Church at Watson Chapel, with Bro. Shawn Cuthbertson officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. at Dark Corner Cemetery in Gould, Arkansas. Visitation is Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
