Jennifer Elaine Hopkins Castillo of Sheridan, was born August 22, 1979 at Little Rock, the daughter of Tim Hopkins and the late Jean Baker Hopkins. She remained a member of First United Methodist Church of Sheridan, the Church she grew up in. Jennifer and her family had recently moved to Greenbrier, where she was employed with Greenbrier School District.

Jennifer died Friday, July 24, 2009 at her home in Greenbrier at the age of 29. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Hopkins, who died in January of this year, maternal grandfather, Roy Hix Baker, Jr. and paternal grandparents, Hugh and Frances Coggins Hopkins.

Survivors include her husband, Kerry Castillo of Greenbrier; Twin daughters, Lainey Brooke and Lexie Ann Castillo, both of Greenbrier; Father, Tim Hopkins of Sheridan; Sister, Amanda Winbury and husband Adam of Sheridan; Grandmother, Johnnie Mae Taylor Baker Bradley of Sheridan; Niece, Shelby Hester and nephews, Addison and Austin Winbury.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Sheridan with Rev. John Fleming officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 357, Sheridan, Arkansas 72150.
