Jeroline Lites Blackerby of Grapevine, Arkansas was born April 8, 1923 in Grapevine, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Roy James and Clara Plunkett Lites. She was a lifelong member of Ain Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine where she served as church treasurer for over 30 years. If the church doors were open, you could find her there, serving her Lord faithfully. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fixing fences, riding her 4-wheeler, tending to the cows, squirrel hunting and fishing. She was a Godly example for her family, that she loved dearly.

Ms. Blackerby died at her home on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 95.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.V. Blackerby, daughter, Alice Faye Lunsford, brothers, Noel Lites, J.B. Lites and Othel Lites and a grandson, Rex Darrell Ashcraft.

Survivors; son, Vance and wife Vicki Blackerby of Grapevine; daughters, Vinda Lou and husband Huey Bradford of Watson Chapel, Dianne and husband Tommy Dean Ashcraft of Grapevine; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Hiblong and Bro. Doney Blackerby officiating. Burial will follow at Ain Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ain Missionary Baptist Church Youth Group, 5277 Hwy 35 South, Grapevine, Arkansas 72057 or Ain Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cody Blackerby, Chris Blackerby, Robert Lunsford, David Lunsford, Jonathan Ashcraft and Spencer Bradford. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons-in-law, Adam Ashley, Patrick Parrish, Jody Taylor and Robert Blundell.
