J esse Howard "Pete" Rhodes of Sheridan, Arkansas was born February 23, 1957 at Pine Bluff, the son of the late Myron W. Rhodes and Alma Rhodes Keller.  He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and was retired from IP/Evergreen packaging after 32 years.  He loved being out in his shop "Supervising" over his sons.  Being outdoors riding his side-by-side was one of his favorite ways to pass the time. He had a love of animals and a love for working.  Jesse will be missed by many.

Jesse died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at his home near Sheridan, surrounded by his family, at the age of 64. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Hubert, Jerry and David Rhodes.

Survivors include his wife, Leaslie Rhodes; mother of his sons, Harriet Rhodes; sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Kari Rhodes, Jonathan and Bridget Rhodes; grandchildren, Dusty, Jaxon, and Colton Rhodes.  Jesse was loved by many including step-children and step-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous other family members and many friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 13, 2021 at Rhodes Cemetery, south of Sheridan, with Bro. Danny Hill officiating. Visitation is Sunday, 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
