Jeweleen Brasher Wawak of Redfield, Arkansas was born May 26, 1939, in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Cecil and Agnes Powell Brasher. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, being outside, traveling, gardening and antique cars. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Wawak died Saturday, March 31, 2018 at White Hall Health and Rehab at the age of 78.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jimmy W. Spann and a sister, Charlene Brasher.
Survivors: husband, Claude Wawak of Redfield; children, Mike (Regina) Wawak, Debi (Frank) Gefell, Linda (Bruce) Singley, Larry (Lisa) Spann, Donna Spann Crowe, and Ozzie Spann; brother, Jimmy Brasher; sisters, Margaret Sanchez, Carolyn Sanders (Billy) Mitchell, Rita (Johnny) Terry; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jasso officiating. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery near Redfield. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Mike Wawak, Ricky Sheeks, Chris Singley, Lance Spann, Cody Atkins, Sierra Singley, Lindsey Spann and Jim Denton.
