Jim Carlen Brasseal of Little Rock, Arkansas was born May 1, 1939 in Poplarville, Mississippi, the son of the late JD and Myrtes Elula Foster Brasseal. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Little Rock and had a Doctorate in Theology. He loved to spread the Word of God. He pastored church in Arkansas, Nebraska, Alabama, Colorado, Oregon and Missouri. He also served as a missionary in Mongolia.

Mr. Brasseal died Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home at the age of 82.

He was preceded in his parents.

Survivors: sons Steve (Suzan) Brasseal of East End, Glenn Brasseal of Cincinnatti, Ohio; daughters Tricia (Matt) Irving of East End, Joy Zabala of Denver, CO; brothers Kenneth Brasseal of Columbia, Mississippi, Joe Brasseal of Columbia, Mississippi; sisters Margaret Brasseal of Mississippi, Judy Brasseal of Mississippi, Cherrylyn Brasseal of Mississippi; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday December 17, 2021 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in the Landmark Community with Bro. David Robinson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.

Pallbearer will be his grandsons.
