Obituary
Jim Powell of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 16, 1935 in Sylvester, Georgia. the son of the late Clinton and Thelma Calhoun Powell. He was a retired truck driver and he enjoyed watching wrestling.
Mr. Powell died Friday, February 17, 2017 at his home at the age of 81.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elouise Dempsey and a brother, Bill Powell.
Survivors: wife of 46 years, Linda Powell of Sheridan; son, Gerald Powell and wife Rebecca of Prattsville; daughters, Eileen Rivero of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, Tina Powell of Prattsville; brothers, James "Pedro" Powell and wife Lisa, Larry Powell and wife Judy all of Florida; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no services.
