Jim Clayton Sketoe of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 13, 1941 in Sheridan to the late John B. and Alice Kelley Sketoe. He died on June 24, 2023. He graduated from Sheridan High School and after adventures in California settled down and made Sheridan his home. He was owner of Jim Sketoe Truck Line, Inc. Jim's early passions were drag racing and fishing but in later life stuck to tall tales and good cigars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances, his brother, John Mack Sketoe, and sister, Alice Jobe.

Survivors: sisters, Martha Jane Thompson of Justin, Texas, Sarah Woolfolk (Jack) of Little Rock; special nephew, John Allen Sketoe and family of Conway along with several nieces and cousins.

Graveside service will be Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan with Bro. Michael Walton officiating.
