Obituary

Jimmy Ray "Jim" Webb of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 3, 1953 at Sheridan, the son of the late J.B. Webb and Dorothy Mae Bradshaw Webb Tidwell .  He was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and a retired maintenance welder.  Without question, Jim's world revolved around his family.  He thought nothing could ever be greater than being a husband and a dad…..until his grandkids came along and he became a "Papa". His favorite pastimes of hunting and fishing, became even more fun, when he had grandkids to share those trips with.  Jim wasn't one to sit still. He was always busy, usually doing something to help someone else.  Jim never sought attention, praise, or pats on the back, for all the things he did for people in his community. He did all that he did because he truly loved helping others.  He wasn't worried about making a difference in THE world, but he did everything he could to make a difference in HIS world.  He shared his love for Jesus with countless numbers of people that he crossed paths with.  He was honest and real, and people knew that his faith was no doubt the same.

Mr. Webb died Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, at the age of 68.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Betty Webb.
