Jimmy Edgar Harrington of Redfield, Arkansas was born January 16, 1937 in Solgohachia, Arkansas, the son of the late James E. and Mildred Rainbolt Harrington. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired supervisor for Champion International. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Harrington died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home at the age of 79.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Croy Harrington and a brother Billy Harrington.

Survivors: son, Jimmy "Bud" Harrington and wife Becky of Redfield; daughters, Beverly Wynn of Warrenton, Virginia; Charlotte Zehtaban and husband Luigi of Redfield; brothers, Roy Harrington, Larry Harrington both of Sheridan, Michael Harrington, Butch Harrington both of Sheridan; sisters, Jennie Young, Sandra Green and Patricia Paty all of Sheridan; 7 grandchildren, Eli, Kayla, Heidi, Christina, Sara, Ben, and Edgar and 10 great grandchildren, Emma, Gracie, Sadie, Cora, Jimmy, Mikayla, Sophie, Mackenzie, Landon, Maddie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 27, 2016 at Orion Missionary Baptist Church, near Redfield, with Bro. Jimmy Easley officiating. Burial will follow in Orion Cemetery. Visitation is also Monday, from 9:30 A.M. until service time.

Pallbearers are Paul Shankle, Randy Harrington, J.J. Harrington, Raymond Harrington, Tim Kirchner and Buddy Allen.
