Jimmy Dale Mangrum of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 21, 1943, in Sheridan, the son of the late Marvin and Letha Mangrum. He was a long-time employee of Airmasters in Little Rock, since 1975 and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, where he was saved at an early age. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, riding horses, cooking out with his work buddies and at deer camp where he was a member of OL Davis Hunting Club.

Jimmy died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 80.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Billie Gene Mangrum and older brother Doyle Mangrum.

Survivors: partner; Linda Williams of Prattsville; brothers, Donnie (Karen) Mangrum of Lebanon, TN, Alvis (Penny) Mangrum of Sheridan, Kermit (fiancee Michelle) Mangrum of Sheridan; sister-in-law, Linda Mangrum of East End; special friends, Pam Landis and Janie Elton as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 15, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service also at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Randy Mooney, Chris Mangrum, Kyle Mangrum, Steven Coleman, Grant Turpin and Monterrius Gibbs.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sheridan Little League.
