Jimmy Dale McClain of Sardis, Arkansas was born July 29, 1941 in Cotton Plant, the son of the late Bishop McClain and Mary Frances Stuman McClain Dixon. He was a retired welding inspector. He enjoyed motorcycles, guns, and watching television and was a Methodist.

Mr. McClain died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock at the age of 82.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Thomas McClain; daughter, Traci McClain Quinn; grandchild, Bryan Thompson.

Survivors: wife and caregiver, Martha Ozment McClain of Sardis; step sons, Lee Moring of Sheridan, David Moring (Valerie) of Sheridan; daughter, Kay Lynn McClain Owens (Bobby) of Sherwood; son-in-law, Andy Quinn of Sherwood; brother, Roy L. McClain of North Little Rock; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Visitation is at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at McPherson Cemetery in Sardis followed by the Graveside funeral service at 2:00 P.M.
