Joey Donavan Wilson of Sheridan, Arkansas was born September 19, 1989 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the son of Michael and Dana Wilson-Derrick. He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and was a construction worker with his father.

He had a good personality, good heart and enjoyed fishing, cars and hanging out with his friends.

Joey died Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his home at the age of 32.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Roger Dale Wilson, Sr. and Emma Jean Wilson and a cousin Charles White.

Survivors: son Greyson Elliott Wilson of Benton; parents Michael and Dana Derrick; sisters Jessica Wilson of Sheridan, Ashley (James) Favors of East End, Kimber (Cody) Jeffcoat of Benton; grandmother Charlene Derrick of Sheridan; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 AM Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the funeral home with graveside at 10:30 AM at Center Campground Cemetery near Sheridan with Michael Derrick officiating.

Pallbearers are Scot Saterfield, Ryan Benfield, Donavan Reynolds, James Favors, Devin Derrick and Jerry Derrick.
