John Franklin Crouse of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 26, 1967 in Benton, Arkansas, the son of Raymond J. and Martha Ann "Mott" Baxley Crouse. He was a supervisor for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arkansas, a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, and secretary of Bethel South Cemetery Assn. He enjoyed traveling, and playing games on his cell phone. John was well known to his Facebook friends to give a daily weather forecast and news update. He had a contagious smile and never met a stranger. He loved life and the people in his life.
John died at his home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the age of 51.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Opal Crouse and Bryan and Lois Baxley.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Andrew Crouse of Dallas, Texas; aunts and uncles, Roy W. Crouse and Sharon Mitchell of Sheridan, Louis and Margaret Rainey of El Dorado and a host of extended family members, cousins, co-workers and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Hill and Bro. Lance Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel South Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel South Cemetery Assn, c/o RJ Crouse, 707 Scott Street, Sheridan, AR 72150.
Pallbearers are Wayne McElroy, Keith Williams, Eric Petty, Stan Johnson, Tony Puckett, Rich Graham,Bobby Tompkins, and Dennis Allen. Honorary Pallbearer is Jason Dunnahoo.
