John Thomas Jackson of Redfield, Arkansas was born December 26, 1946 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Iva Barton Cook and the late Tom Jackson. He was a member of Bingham Road Baptist Church in Little Rock and a retired contractor. He enjoyed cutting gems, fishing, hunting and shooting canons.

Mr. Jackson died Monday, June 24, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 72.

He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Jackson.

Survivors: wife, Susan Brown Jackson of Redfield; daughter, Brenda Ross of Alexander; mother, Iva Cook of Little Rock; brother, Donald Jackson of Redfield; sisters, Kathy Keith of Conway, Janet Harper of Benton; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Jackson and Ashley Ross; 1 great grandchild, Lilly Jackson; step-sons, Landon and Donna Culpeper, Micah and Marsha Culpepper, Matthew and Samantha Culpepper; step daughter, Angela and Michael Little; step-grandchildren, Christian Culpepper, Sebastian Culpepper, Aidan Culpepper, Austin Culpepper, Ava Culpepper, Emma Little, Lawson Little, James Little, Louis Culpepper and Charles Culpepper and a host of extended family members and friends.
