John Wesley Morris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 23, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Walter Lee Morris and the late Geraldine Walls Morris. He was in the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, repairing cars, wood working and antique cars.

John died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 67.

Survivors: wife, Karen Ausbrooks Morris of Sheridan; son, Alex Wesley Morris of Bryant; daughter, Megan Denise Morris and husband Elijah Knudsen of Russellville; father, Walter Lee Morris of Sheridan; brother, Lee Morris and wife Lynn of Sheridan; sister, Julie Reynolds and husband J.R. of Geneseo, Illinois and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.

A time of visitation will be Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
