Obituary
John N. Murray of Prattsville, Arkansas was born February 14, 1938 in Lonoke County, Arkansas, the son of the late Gordon Thomas and Willie Etta Lamb Murray. He was of the Assembly of God Faith and was self-employed.
Mr. Murray died Monday, August 29, 2011 at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 73. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melvin and a sister, Betty.
Survivors: Wife, Alice Elaine Black of Prattsville;
Son, Scott Black and wife Amanda of Sheridan;
Brother, Allen Don Fortune and wife Debra of Sheridan;
2 grandchildren and one on the way.
Graveside services will be 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. Rick Tatum officiating. Visitation will also be Tuesday from 2:00 until 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Donnie Rankin, Dusty Craig, Dennis Finley, Hollis Nutt, Gene Earnest and Jeremy Gilbert.
