John William "Johnny " Quarles, Sr. Of Reno, Nevada formerly of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Pine Bluff at the age of 43. He was of Christian faith.

Born June 11, 1966 in Isola, Mississippi, he was a 1984 graduate of Dollarway High School in Pine Bluff. John was the son of Fred Quarles, Sr. and the late Charlotte Stayton Quarles both of Pine Bluff.

Aside from his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marion Brewer of Yazoo City, Mississippi, a son Bryson Quarles of Las Vegas Nevada, and a nephew Brian Quarles of Eightmile, Alabama.

John is survived by his wife, Kristina Quarles also formally of Pine Bluff, step daughters; Johnna and Jordan of Monticello, sons; Jay (John Jr.) Of Memphis, Tennessee and John Michale of Sheridan, mothers-in-law; Mary Lowery of Hailey, Idaho and Jenny Wright of Pansy, Arkansas, fathers-in-law; David Wright of Pansy, Arkansas and Earl Manuel of Hailey, Idaho; two brothers;
Fred, Jr. Of Eighttmile, Alabama and Michale Stayton of Pine Bluff and one adpoted son Spencer Kyle Quarles of Sheridan as well as Spencer's daughter Courtney Marie.

He was employed by Johns Manville in Fernley, Nevada as a service technician. He enjoyed horseback riding, rebuilding old cars, flying, and Nascar racing. He was a loving, devoted, and wonderful husband and father. His bright and fun spirit will be missed by many.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Hardin Cemetery near Pine Bluff with Bro. Tim Law officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
