John Noble Ventress of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 10, 1955 in El Dorado, Kansas, the son of Shirley Grubb McKee and the late Frank Holt Ventress.

John died Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his home at the age of 62.
John was a member of MidTown Church in Benton, had served in the United States Army and was a retired engineer from Falcon Jet.

He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Sheridan Country Club. He also loved to hunt, fish and travel to Jamaica.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Liz Ventress.

Survivors: wife, Phyllis Buffington Ventress of Sheridan; sons, Jeremy Ventress and wife Amber of Alexander, Steven Germscheid and wife Ashley of Benton; daughter, Charidy Krouse and husband Mark of Valparaiso, Florida; mother, Shirley McKee of Cleburne, Texas; brothers Larry Walker and wife Kim of California, Terry Walker and wife Sherri of Houston, Texas; sister, Linda Patton of El Dorado, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, Isabelle and Cooper Ventress, Ethan Bean, Zack Krouse, and Taylon Henderson and a host of nieces, nephews, co-workers from Falcon Jet and golfing buddies.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 30, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jody Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Curtis McElyea, Joe White, Jody Warren, Chris Bartlett, Shon Taylor and Jason Ryan. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Sample and Mark Krouse.
