Johnny Lee Cobb of Mountain View, Arkansas formerly of Sheridan was born November 21, 1951 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of the late Harold and Mary Sullins Cobb. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Sheridan. He enjoyed reading, traveling, studying his Bible, and spending time with his family,

Johnny died Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at his home at the age of 71.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Patty Via Cobb; a daughter, Chauna Cobb and triplet grandchildren, Maddix, Meyer, McKayla Smith.

Survivors: wife, Elizabeth McDowell Cobb of Mountain View; sons, Chris Minor (Lucie) of Evergreen, Colorado, Austin Johnson of Greenbrier; daughter, Chrystin Smith (Eric) of Sheridan; brother, Tommy Cobb (Vicki) of Sheridan; sisters, Mary Elouise Wilson of Sheridan, Connie Burnett of Heber Springs; 4 grandchildren, Maxim Minor, McCoy Minor, Emmalyn Smith, Abygail Smith and a host of extended family members and many friends.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 7, 2023 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with his nephew, Bro. Shane Wilson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Burial will be at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
