Johnny William Wade Jordan of Redfield, Arkansas was born October 3, 1935 near Little Rock, the son of the late Charles Richard and Edna Wade Jordan. He was a retired union iron worker and was a proud member of Ironworkers Local #321. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and tinkering on everything from lawn mowers to cars and trucks.
Mr. Jordan died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 79.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, and mother of his children, Lillian "Bitty" Jordan; daughter, Julia Kay Baugh; grandson, Derrick Jordan; granddaughter, Jennifer Kay Jordan; siblings, Silas Jordan, Marvin Jordan, Jimmy Jordan, Bernice Lampkin, Lillie Mae Patterson, Ruth Todd.

Survivors include his wife, Gene Wells Jordan of Redfield; sons, John Jordan of Redfield, Kenneth and wife Gail Jordan of Ico; Bobby Jordan of Prattsville; step-daughters, Debbie Pollard of North Little Rock, Panda Gire of Bryant; sisters, Ola Conrad of West Monroe, Louisiana, Lucille Franks of Royce City, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Jordan, Vanessa Nicole Draper, Tiffany Gail Bancroft, Samantha Jordan, William Jordan, Michael Jordan, Tim Baugh, Angel Metcalf, and 11 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of other family members and many friends.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 7, 2014 at Jackson Cemetery near Sheridan. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan.
