John Walter (Johnny) Terry, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born July 17, 1954 in Greenville, Mississippi, the son of Eleanor Barrentine and the late John W. Terry, Sr. He enjoyed hunting and fishing especially hand grabbing.

Johnny died Friday, August 28, 2020 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs at the age of 66.

Survivors: wife and best friend, Rita Brasher Terry of Sheridan; sons, Keith (Melissa) Terry of Sheridan, Bobby (Lindsey) Terry of Sheridan, special son, Tracy Tiernan of Sheridan; special daughter, Mary (Tim) King of Chattanooga, TN; mother, Eleanor Barrentine of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Barry (Mary) Terry of Lubbock, TX, Frank (Vicky) Terry of Greenville, MS, Kenneth Terry of Kilmichael, MS, James (Laurie) Terry of Greenville, MS; 11 grandchildren, Jaycob, Matthew, Keaton, Drake, Gracie, Ella, Payge, Havis, Emma, Jake, Baxlee; 2 great grandchildren, Eza Everleigh and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 31, 2020 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Terry and Bro. Tim King officiating. Burial will follow at Lost Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Wade Hall, Ed Garrett, Christian Terry, Floyd Berry, BJ Terry, Kevin Doolin and Kevin Terry. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Smith, Randy Smith, and Jimmy Cotton.
