Joseph Acie Watson of Grapevine, Arkansas was born September 24, 1940 in Grapevine, Arkansas the son of the late Mack and Elva Crowder Watson. He was a member of Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine and the Rudolph Hunting Club. He owned his own sawmill, was a logger and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mr. Watson died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff at the age of 79.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Mark Watson and Robert Watson, and 3 brothers, Melvin Watson, Tommy Watson and Elvis Watson.

Survivors: son, Donald and wife Donna Watson of Pine Bluff; brother, Albert Watson of Grapevine; sister, Ann Camp of Sheridan; grandchildren, Anthony Watson, Mikel Watson, John Watson, Cassi Watson and Jodie Watson; 4 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Bethany #1 Missionary Baptist Church in Grapevine. Burial will follow at Davis Cemetery in Grapevine. Visitation will be prior to the service at the church from 9:00 until service time.

Pallbearers are Anthony Watson, Curtis Watson, Chris Watson, Mikel Watson, John Watson, and Freddy Pierce.
