JR. Stone of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 26, 1948 at Heber Springs, the son of the late E.L. "Pete" and Maudean Hooten Stone. He was a Baptist and worked for Toler Lumber Co. as a forklift operator. JR. loved his family and his truck.

Mr. Stone died, Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at his home in Sheridan at the age of 62. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Earnest Stone, Larry Stone, and Jay Stone.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Stone ; sons, Sheldon Scott Stone and Shannon Shane Stone; daughter, Wendy and husband Randy Brown, all of Sheridan; brothers, Willie and wife Vangie Stone of Heber Springs, Jackie and wife Juanita Stone of Grapevine, Johnny and wife Debbie Stone of Sheridan; sisters; Thelma Gray, Teresa and husband Tony Stringfellow and Anita and husband Kevin Hawkins, all of Sheridan; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Michaela, Sabrina, Zachary and Skyler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating. Visitation is also Thursday, from 12:00 P.M. until service time.
