Juanita Finley Steele of Sheridan, Arkansas was born April 5, 1915 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Earl and Sally Puckett Finley. Mrs. Steele was a very loving and devoted Christian wife and mother who served alongside her late husband, Rev. Lynn B. Steele, Sr. as he pastored numerous churches in and around Grant County from his ordination in 1941 until his death in 1966. She was also a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, was a retired dietician at the Grant County Nursing Home, and loved gardening and handcrafts.
Mrs. Steele died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at the Sheridan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 90.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Rev. Lynn B. Steele, Jr. who was also a well known minister.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 22, 2005 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Dennis Holmes and Bro. Robert Ewing officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery at Sheridan. Visitation: 5-7 Pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Pallbearers; Dustin Glover, Zach Glover, Charles Ellis, Conrad Davis, Burnell Summerford and Dorsey Fleming.
