Judy Lynn Harris of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 17, 1972 at Rison, Arkansas. She was proud to be a part of Restoration Church in Sheridan. She also poured her heart into Extension Cord Ministries. Judy had a passion for children. She had previously worked at Keep 'n' Teach and then in food service at Sheridan Schools. After seeing a great need, she started the Backpack program to make certain school kids were fed and cared for even when school wasn't in session. Her greatest joy was being a wife, a mom, and definitely a "Gammie" to her grandkids. God used Judy in many ways, to make others lives better, and to point them towards Him.
Mrs. Harris won her battle with cancer opened her eyes in the presence of Jesus, on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at her home in Sheridan, at the age of 49. She was preceded in death by her mother, Daisy Brown and her father-in-law, Ronnie Lee Harris.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Tony Harris; daughters, Ashley (Stephen) Names, Kaylee (Chance) Thomas, Danielle Cook; all of Sheridan; brother, Chris Fulcher; sister, Darlene Dixon; both of Rison; mother-in-law, Debbie Ross of Ico Community; grandchildren, Aubreigh, Casen, Rileigh, Wesley and Isabella. She is also survived by numerous other extended family members and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 13, 2022 at Restoration Church (19 Grant 64, Sheridan, Arkansas) with Bro. Brent Henderson and Sis. Nelodie Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Moore's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation is also Sunday, from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at the church.
