Obituary

Karen Lee Glover McLillie, Prattsville, Arkansas, passed into eternal life on May 19, 2025.  She is resting peacefully in the arms of our loving Lord, Jesus Christ.

Karen was born to Harold and Rose Massanelli Glover in Stuttgart, Arkansas on December 2, 1961.  The family moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas when Karen was two years old.  Karen attended St. Joseph/St. Peter Catholic School and Southeast Junior High before graduating from Pine Bluff High School.  She worked for White Cotton Co. then with her parents in their business, Pine Bluff Paint and Wallpaper.

During her high school years, Karen met the love of her life, David McLillie.  They were partners almost 50 years.  They made a home in Prattsville, Arkansas with their son, Jeremy.  David managed a family farm and Karen helped him and took care of the home.

Karen was a kind, generous person-always looking out for and taking care of others.  She loved to serve others and was the first to be up cleaning and organizing after a family meal.  She always smiled and hummed as she went about her day!  Karen loved her family deeply; her greatest pride and joy was her three grandsons, Layne, Leland, and Lukas who she helped raise.

Karen leaves behind her cherished son, Jeremy McLillie, and her three grandsons, Layne, Leland, and Lukas McLillie, siblings Sherry (and Joe Domann, Atchison, KS., Wayne (and Robyn) Glover, Hot Springs, AR., Linda (and Dirk) Ahlich, The Woodlands, TX., Judy (and Larry) Ahlert, Fayetteville, AR., Cathy (and Mike) Boyd, Hot Springs, AR., aunts, Lena Owen, Star City, AR., Toni Archer, Whitehall, AR., and Stella Phelps, Rison, AR., sister-in-law, Sherry Highsmith, brothers-in-law, Mike McLillie and William Highsmith, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
