Karla Sanchez

Karla Bagley Sanchez of Sheridan was born October 25, 1963 in Pine Bluff, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby Bagley. She enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the proud mother of two sons, whom she loved with all her heart, and the adoring Nana of six grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Her family was always her greatest blessing, and she never missed an opportunity to remind them how deeply they were loved. Even when words became difficult, she always found a way to say, “I love you.” Her warm smile and grateful heart were gifts she shared until the very end. She found simple happiness in life, especially while watching her favorite game shows, but nothing compared to the happiness she found in spending time with her family. She always put those she loved before herself, offering unwavering support, encouragement, and compassion. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and selfless love will be deeply missed but forever remembered. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely will continue to guide and inspire us every day.

Karla died Sunday, June 28, 2026 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 62.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ray Bagley and her best friend, David Sanchez.

Survivors: sons, Tony Sanchez and Shane Sanchez both of Sheridan; brother, Gaylon Presley of White Hall; sister, Vickie Correll of Georgia and 6 grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Jasso officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will be at Lost Creek Cemetery in Sheridan.
