Kathleen Dial Hyde of Leola, Arkansas was born March 14, 1931 at Leola, the daughter of Valora Trimble Dial and the late Jesse James Dial. She was a member of Leola Missionary Baptist Church. She loved to sew, crochet, and cook. Her greatest loves were her Church and her family.

Mrs. Hyde died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at her home at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Hyde who died in 1985.

Survivors include a son, J.R. Hyde and a daughter, Brenda Southworth and her husband Steve both of Leola; two brothers, J.D. Dial and wife Nancy of Pine Bluff and Marvin Dial and finance' Julie Anderson of Leola; Mother, Valora Trimble Dial of Malvern; Grandchildren: Cindy Hyde Puckett, Amanda Southworth Fite and Shane Southworth; Great-grandchildren, Morgan Puckett, Brianna Puckett, Bryce Fite, and one on-the-way along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Leola Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Brewster and Bro. Bob Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Leola Cemetery. Pallbearers are George Stiles, Dan Holland, Todd Riggan, Robin Dorey, Luther Carter and Paul Wylie. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Leola Volunteer Fire Department. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.
