Kathryn Lorene Graves Flynt, 84, of Sheridan, Arkansas (Ico Community) died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Saline Memorial Hospice in Bryant.
Kathryn was born October 5, 1932, in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Fred Martin and Ida Mae Croy Graves.
She was a homemaker, retiring from Westinghouse Corp. She enjoyed cooking, beautiful flowers and her family. She never met a stranger and always had a smile. When she was 70 years old she received and earned her GED.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Flynt, daughter, Janis Carol Main Walker; brothers, Reed, Buck, Elbert, Delbert and Pete Graves and sister Imogene Lanier.
Kathryn is survived by her son, Dave Main and wife Ann; daughters, Linda Stapleton and husband Bobby, Gloria King, Kathy James and husband Wayne, and son-in-law Frank Walker.
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She also had two special friends, Pam and Danyell from Red Lobster in Little Rock who she loved as her own children.
She served her Lord faithfully as a member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church in Ico, being the longest living member and also was a lifetime member of the Faith Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2017
at Marlow Missionary Baptist Church in Ico with Bro. Randy Murry and Bro. Robert Standley officiating.. Burial will follow at Orion Cemetery near Redfield.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time also at the church.
Memorials may be made to Marlow Missionary Baptist Church or Saline Memorial Hospice House.
Pallbearers are Zack Jones, Sam Madsen, Alan McKinney, Travis Stapleton, Bobby Stapleton, Chris Walker and Stewart Main.
