Kathy Diane Gilbert Vann of Leola, Arkansas was born July 29, 1957 in Malvern, Arkansas, the daughter of J.W. Gilbert and the late Carolyn Threet Reynolds. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and putting puzzles together.

Ms. Vann died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 63.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Vann and her son-in-law, Thomas Ford.

Survivors: sons, Ray McCool of Malvern, Kevin Vann of Leola, Charles (Haley) Vann of Sheridan, Stevie Vann of Leola; daughter, Julie Ford of Leola; father and step-mother, J.W. (Shirley) Gilbert of Grapevine; brother, Dennis (Angela) Gilbert of Prattsville; sisters, Martha (Gary) Whitley of Green Forest, Evelyn (Dale) Crutchfield of Sheridan, Carol (Wayne) Hemmert of Prattsville; grandchildren, Gabriella Ford, Raelynn Ford, Keaton France and Remington Vann and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M.,  Friday, October 16, 2020 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville with Bro. James Blackwood officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home for expenses.
