Kay Highsmith Cissell of Prattsville, was born August 5, 1953 in Malvern, the daughter of late Everette and Zelma Crutchfield Highsmith. She was a member of Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church.
Kay died on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at Robinson Nursing and Rehab in Little Rock at the age of 73.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas Ard and a brother, Pauley Pumphrey.
Survivors: brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Janet Pumphrey of Prattsville; sister, Linda Williams of Sheridan; 2 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, November 12, 2026 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Neal Hollinger officiating. Visitation 10:00 until service time. Burial will be in Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville.
Pallbearers are Everette Williams, Neal Hollinger, Heath Johnson, Dale Crutchfield, William Pumphrey and Paul Pumphrey.
