Kaye Palacio McElroy of Sheridan, Arkansas was born March 31, 1953 at Shenandoah, Iowa, the daughter of the late Joseph and Francis Jean Jerome Palacio. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, but her greatest love was making memories with her family.

Mrs. McElroy died Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Saline Hospice in Bryant, at the age of 66.

Survivors include her husband, Buddy McElroy of Sheridan; son and daughter-in-law, Bubba and Christy Stewart of Morton, Mississippi; daughters and sons-in-law, Shelley "Sister" and John Gardner of Sebastopol, Mississippi, and Dotty and Adam Carr of Pelahatchie, Mississippi; 2 step-children; uncle, Junior Taylor of Shenandoah, Iowa; grandchildren, Ty Stewart, Alex Grace Stewart, D.J. (Brooke) Monk, Mason Sugg, Rylan Sugg, Madison McElroy; great granddaughter, Annie Kaye Monk.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan, with Bro. Danny Hill officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
