Kenneth D. "Kenny" Burlison of East End was born July 28, 1951 at at Lonoke, the son of Nellie Jones Burlison and the late Jesse Howard Burlison. He was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church and worked in construction. In his spare time, he enjoyed leather craft and being outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing and was a proud member of the National Rifle Association and the East End Hunting Club.

Mr. Burlison died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 63.

Survivors include his wife, Mona Stringer Burlison of East End; mother, Nellie Burlison of Little Rock; sons, Jody and wife Stacy Barnes of Sheridan, Lenny and wife Channell Barnes of Sheridan, Jesse and wife Shelly Burlison of Sheridan, and Casey Burlison of East End; brother, Tommy and wife Phyllis Burlison of Little Rock; grandchildren, Kalyn Barnes, Haylee Barnes, John "J.J." Barnes, Tucker Burlison, Ella Mae Burlison, Ainsley Burlison, McCoy Burlison; niece, Felicia Burlison; nephew, David and wife Krissy Burlison; special friend, Jay Garner; and a large number of good friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Sheridan with Bro. Paul Roberts and Bro. Dennis Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery at East End. Visitation is Monday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Dylan Peery, Barett Ratcliff, Lucas Adams, Jay Garner, Hunter Henderson and Lee Knox. Honorary pallbearers are the members of the East End Hunting Club.
