Obituary

Kenneth O'Neal "Kenny" Sites, Jr. of Sheridan, Arkansas was born November 6, 1946 in Sheridan, the son of the late Kenneth O'Neal "K.O." Sites, Sr. and Zulla Mae Pearce Sites.

On Tuesday, December 2nd Heaven gained an incredible angel. He was one of a kind. A staple in Grant County is how many people described him. He was a great example of what a man should be…Christian, husband, daddy, papa, brother and friend. He was so kind to everyone and never met a stranger.

Kenny was a mentor and role model to so many, even when he wasn't aware of how he inspired people. He was a gentleman, a leader and a genuine cowboy to the very end. He died doing exactly what he loved, trying to save the life of an animal.

He was a devoted member and Deacon of Sheridan Church of Christ, and had retired from Soil Conservation Service after 27 years of service. He graduated from Sheridan High School and also University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Survivors: wife and best friend of 57 years, Annette Brown Sites of Sheridan; 3 daughters Kim (Wayne) Slaughter of Hot Springs, Kelly Sites of Sheridan, Jill (David) Mooney of Sheridan; brothers, Danny Sites of Sheridan, Bill (Denise) Sites of Sherwood; sisters, Donna Reynolds of Hendersonville, NC, Sue (Burnell) Summerford of White Hall, Paulette (Mike) Trusty of Little Rock; grandchildren, Lyndsey (Lee) Curry, Tyler (Autumn) Boatright, Sierra Lea, Madison (Trentt) Whiting, Karli Lunsford, Preslee Mooney, Gage Mooney, Makara (Sydney) Reed, Zach (Heather) Slaughter; 8 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members, church family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Kendall Hemphill officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 AM until service time.

A timeless treasure who will be missed every day.
