Kimberly Renee Brooks Whitmire of Sheridan, Arkansas was born in Little Rock on February 24, 1966, to the late Wesley and Phyllis Hopper Brooks. She was a member of Marlow Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kim died at her home on December 24, 2024 at the age of 58.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Bubby and Todd Brooks.

Survivors: husband, William T. "Bill" Whitmire of Sheridan; son, Tyler Shoptaw
(Sarah) of Bauxite; daughters, Santanna Dimler (Michael) of East End, Kacey Underwood (Lucas)  of Lonoke; brothers, Robert Brooks of Bryant, Darrel Brooks of Indianapolis; sister, Andrea Brooks Dunn (John) of Bryant; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Graveside service will be Monday, December 30, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. at Bethel Cemetery in the Ico Community. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 before the graveside.

Pallbearers are Mike Dimler, Tyler Shoptaw, Chris Whitmire, Cole Ray Childers, TJ Furr, and Stanley Pinegar.
